Our Mission
To enhance the life of children in the autistic spectrum through tennis, giving participants the opportunity to grow and learn whilst enjoying fitness and exercise and having fun!
To provide an opportunity for the tennis community and volunteers to give back to society and to foster better understanding of children with special needs.
Our vision
Tennis SENsation aims to continue to expand in the future after the initial 8 week program. We also hope to make people more aware of tennis SENsation and to help more children in the autistic spectrum.
Meet The Team

Head Tennis Coach for Term 1
Jason Sankey
Jason was born in Hong Kong and is a fully qualified teaching professional under the ITF. He has over 20 years of coaching experience. He is a former number 1 HK junior player, a HK Junior Davis Cup Captain as well as a HK Davis Cup player. He brings a passionate approach to performance training that has built him a loyal following over the years.

Fitness Coach for Term 1
Tom Preston
Tom began his career in the sports/fitness industry 20 years ago, and has 10 years’ experience working with tennis players at an elite level.
Tom adopts an holistic approach to performance training, emphasizing the importance of cultivating both physical and psychological strength in order to compete at the highest level.
In addition to high performance kinesiology, Tom is a specialist in Corrective Exercise.

Special Needs Educator
Crest
CREST Child Rehabilitation and Education Service Team is a private practice therapy clinic specialising in Occupational Therapy for children and provide training to professionals, frontline workers, teachers and parents. The team of experienced therapists offer assessment and clinical rehabilitation within the centre, home, and school environment using approaches and tools integrated with technology and research from local and overseas experts.

Founder & Assistant coach
Hi, I am Etienne and I am the founder of Tennis SENsation and a volunteer.
I am 17 years old and I have been playing competitive tennis since I was 9. I am currently a member of the Hong Kong National Tennis Squad.
I hope to be able to help children in the autistic spectrum though tennis, a sport that I love.

Jenny Leung

Hi, I am jenny and I’m one of the assistant coaches for the tennis sensation initiative,
I have been playing tennis at a competitive level for the past 8 years, and ongoing
My favorite area of study is social science. Outside of my sports and academic interests, I have always been enthusiastic about helping people and helping them opportunities to exceed. I’m hoping to achieve that through volunteering in this Programme

Oscar Leung
Assistant coach
Hi I am Oscar and I am an assistant coach of Tennis SENsation.
Playing tennis since I was 6, it has always been my favorite sport and activity to do whenever I am free. Partaking in this initiative allows me to contribute to society in a meaningful way and most importantly it allows me to discover the fun of coaching people tennis especially as we are coaching children with special needs in this project.
I am very excited to see you all on the tennis court!

Rainier Mandel

Hi, I am Rainier Mandel and I am one of the the assistant coaches for the Tennis Sensation initiative.
I am a Year 10 student and I have been playing tennis since I was 6 years old. I have been training with Tennis Asia for many years and I play competitive tennis in Hong Kong.
I am very pleased to be a part of this new program and to transmit my enthusiasm for tennis to a wonderful group of kids.
